37th ICNA conference

The 37th annual conference of the Infection Control Nurses Association will be held at the Brighton Centre in Brighton from 24 to 26 September 2007.

The themes of this year’s conference are:

• Monday, 24 September: Infection prevention – challenging behaviour.
• Tuesday, 25 September: Embedding culture change for infection prevention.
• Wednesday, 26 September: Informing the outlook of infection prevention.

Elaine Larson, professor of pharmaceutical and therapeutic nursing at Columbia University, is confirmed to present on 24 September.

The 2006 event saw a 25% increase in delegate attendance and the organisers of this year’s conference are confident that the increase will be improved on in 2007.
