Body wash sachets help reduce waste

In response to requests from several large NHS Trusts, SCOT YOUNG RESEARCH (SYR) has developed antimicrobial hair and body wash in cost-effective 25 ml sachets.

Developed in the UK, SYR’s antimicrobial whole body wash, SYRScrub, has a new formulation which shows a significant improvement in comparison to existing products on the market.

Packed in boxes of 50, SYRScrub sachets are a more economical way of supplying the product to patients – currently at least 60% of body wash supplied in bottles is discarded without use.

SYR’s healthcare manager Matthew Rea said: “Avoiding waste and delivering cost saving benefits to all NHS Trusts has been the priority when developing this product.”

It is also available in other costsaving sizes: 125ml, 250ml and 500ml bottles.
