Speaking at a recent conference on ‘The Value of Technology in Healthcare’, the national clinical director for innovation, Professor TONY YOUNG, provided an insight into the role of clinical entrepreneurs in turning innovation into action, as well as some of the key initiatives underway to support adoption of new technologies and solutions.
Olympus Medical recently hosted the second Value of Technology in Healthcare event at the Royal College of General Practitioners, in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University and Anglia Ruskin Health Partnership. The event brought together key industry experts within the healthcare sector to discuss the importance of incorporating innovative, new technologies into both NHS and private hospitals.
With a faculty consisting of eight experts, all advocates for innovation in healthcare, there was a variety of presentations delivered and two-way discussion on a range of topics including: Technology in the NHS: How Does This Relate To The Current NHS Agenda?, The Role of Medical Device Technology, Sharing Best Practice At A Local Level, Making Innovation Stick In The NHS and European Connected Health Alliance: A Trusted Partner to Drive Change.
