Benefits of procedure packs demonstrated

Offering products that help healthcare providers improve efficiency and control infection, ROCIALLE will be promoting its custom procedure trays, medical packs and surgical instruments as part of the Welsh delegation at Hall 16, F42.

Procedure packs have been shown to enable surgical teams to devote more resources to patient care by reducing the time spent picking and opening components. Purchasing and stock management are also simplified.

Smaller packs, such as those for cannulation and blood culture, provide similar benefits and can make a huge contribution towards the embedding of best practice. Having sterile packs that contain the required components helps ensure that the correct items for the procedure are used correctly, that procedures are not interrupted because something is missing, and that when included, the correct paperwork is completed and patient information is communicated accurately.

On its stand, Rocialle will have a tool that calculates the financial benefits of introducing procedure packs, including the savings from better control of infection.
