Next generation in mobile hand hygiene

As 1.89 million Britons caught norovirus during last winter the need for hand hygiene facilities at a point of need has never been greater.

Birmingham manufacturer, TEAL PATENTS, has been working with healthcare organisations and infection control departments to develop the next generation in mobile hand hygiene with the TEAL Stop ‘n’ Wash. Meeting the need for a mobile handwash unit which can easily be located to areas most at risk, the unit helps prevent and contain outbreaks from deadly healthcare-associated infections such as norovirus and MRSA. Designed to educate and encourage the correct hand washing procedure, the synchronised display takes users through the TEAL Stop ‘n’ Wash, as laid down by NHS Guidelines. Fully automatic and hands-free, the unit requires no connection to mains water or drainage and only needs a 13 amp power point.
