BRANDON MEDICAL is launching a new surgical lighting system. Quasar Ultra will be unveiled for the first time at the Medica exhibition in Hall 13, Stand C36.
The new system has been designed and built in the UK, to create a step change in the performance of surgical lighting and medical video. The products feature enhanced light distribution, fully integrated SDI video cameras, and world class hygienic design principles. Brandon Medical is a long established British manufacturer with a track record of delivering innovative medical lighting solutions. Quasar Ultra is the result of the biggest design project yet and draws on the knowledge gained through working with some of Europe’s leading research and technology development agencies under the EU Framework 7 Research Programme. According to the company, this has resulted in a step change in the quality of surgical light and the creation of a ‘stunningly uniform illuminated area’ for the surgeon. Brandon Medical will also be showcasing its portfolio of solutions for medical video systems and examination lighting. An expert team will be available to demonstrate the company’s products and to share how they are able to deliver bespoke solutions to hospitals throughout the world.
