Innovative female urinal

VERNACARE will be showcasing the new Female Urinal, the latest new product in their product development pipeline.

Designed specifically to meet the toileting needs of female patients, this innovative product has been developed alongside specialists from across the healthcare sector, and evaluated extensively by healthcare professionals and patients to ensure that the design addresses the issues associated with current alternative toileting practices. The ergonomic design promotes self-toileting, preserving patient dignity and empowering patients to toilet themselves with little or no assistance from healthcare staff. This supports the Royal College of Nursing’s ‘Dignity’ campaign and comes at a time when healthcare organisations are looking to implement interventions quickly to tackle spiralling HCAI costs. Being single-use, this product is expected to increase patient safety and help hospitals as they attempt to achieve cost savings by helping to reduce their HCAI rates.
