Bone void filler launched in UK

ORTHODYNAMICS and BONE SUPPORT AB have established a partnership to promote the use of the innovative Cerament bone void filler and Cerament G into the UK market.

Cerament bone void filler is osteoconductive ceramic biomaterial intended for orthopedic applications as a filler for gaps and voids that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure. It is indicated to be injected into bony voids or gaps in the skeletal system, i.e. extremities and pelvis. These defects may be surgically created osseous defects or osseous defects from traumatic injury to the bone. Cerament G is a bone void filler that elutes gentamicin antibiotic. This product not only promotes new bone growth, but it also protects the process by a predictable elution of gentamicin antibiotic (in vitro model).
