Non-contact temperature monitoring

HELAPET’s innovative ThermoFlash non-contact Thermometer has proven highly effective for flap surface temperature monitoring, during surgical procedures and in perioperative environments. Using infra-red technology to monitor the free flap temperature, ThermoFlash is said to accurately present regular readings to the user indicating potential changes and informing the best action to take.

Unlike traditional forms of temperature monitoring, which require skin contact or intrusive implantation beneath the tissue, the ThermoFlash clinical thermometer is completely noncontact, negating any risk of cross contamination or infection risk to the patient. With tolerance accuracy equal to that of commonly used tympanic thermometers, ThermoFlash has been trialled successfully in the UK. Taking over 10,000 temperature readings per charge and displaying the results on its clear LED screen, ThermoFlash can be practically used without the hindrance of additional wires or surrounding equipment.
