Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has undertaken a major project to upgrade existing bed and dynamic pressure area care stock to state-of-the-art electric profiling beds.
This will provide patients with increased independence and improved comfort while underlining the Trust’s commitment to its staff and their wellbeing. Healthcare equipment specialists SIDHIL have been awarded a total bed management contract worth in excess of £1 million. Alongside management of bed facilities across the Trust, the contract calls for the supply and maintenance of over 400 of Sidhil’s advanced Independence Innov8 Electric Profiling Beds and over 100 Trio II dynamic therapy mattresses as well as a range of ancillary products. Manufactured in the UK, Sidhil’s Independence Innov8 is designed to provide total flexibility in terms of bed specification for applications from utility ward beds through to high dependency environments. It has been designed around key principles including ease of use and world class infection control. The Trio II is a very high risk dynamic pressure therapy mattress replacement system, designed to meet the clinical needs of those patients with and up to category 4 Pressure Ulcers.
