International experts target key challenges

The Global Health Policy Summit was established to address the common challenges of health policy and to develop innovative ways for delivering healthcare across the world.

Conceived by the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London, its mission is to foster and support a global community of health reformers.

Five key objectives have been identified1 by the institute including to:

• Address the global challenge of delivering high quality healthcare equitably and affordably.
• Introduce innovative new solutions to tackle the most important problems in health policy and delivery.
 • Draw on the best international evidence to provide policy-makers with recommendations that are practical and actionable.
• Catalyse new collaborations between governments, business, non-profits and academia.
• Create a lasting resource for health reformers worldwide.
