Leading outsourced decontamination and sterile services provider IHSS will be presenting its innovative new source, finance and pay per use Managed Equipment Service for endoscope sterilisation at this year’s Institute of Decontamination Sciences annual conference.
The new service uses a simple pay per use model, where customers are charged an agreed fee each time they require an endoscope to be sterilised, combined with the sourcing and financing of each endoscope as part of a contracted arrangement with each customer. This complete sterilisation solution looks set to drive down the cost of endoscope reprocessing, and can help healthcare providers to further improve the quality of patient care.
IHSS’ team of experts will be on hand at the conference to explain exactly how the pay per use process works, answer any questions visitors may have about outsourcing endoscopy sterilisation and discuss the many benefits of its service. This includes: eliminating the risks and direct costs associated with instrument acquisition, operation and maintenance; ensuring clinicians are provided modern instruments; and freeing up space, while also creating an environment within which the speed and efficiency of patient service, capacity for future growth and mandatory compliance can be improved.
“The Institute of Decontamination Sciences annual conference is the ideal event to unveil our new Managed Equipment Service,” said Gary Clarke, Commercial Manager at IHSS. “With the number of procedures using endoscopes increasing, at a time when budgets are already stretched, our new pay per use service offers hospital managers and clinicians an innovative, flexible and cost effective way to meet the demands they face day to day. We’re excited to share this innovative new service and its benefits with visitors to the conference.”
This year’s Institute of Decontamination Sciences annual conference takes place on 28-30 November 2016 at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool. Visitors to the event will find IHSS and further information on its innovative new Managed Equipment Service in the Lancaster Suite (Mortimer & Beaufort Room) at the conference.
